In support of our local aerospace industry, Rajawali Aerospace Sdn Bhd in collaboration with internationally known Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation has brought in the new Sikorsky Helicopter S-92 to Malaysia for the first time. A promotional flight for the Chief Minister’s Office has been organized and is hosted at Spaero Sdn Bhd’s hangar in Batu Berendam, Melaka on the 30th November, 2011.
This promotional event aims to showcase the versatility and reliability of this advanced helicopter by providing the Chief Minister Representative, YB Datuk Perumal and the members of Melaka State Department an aerial view of Melaka’s development progress from above. Besides that, it would also help to bolster the development of aerospace industry in Melaka by endorsing the capability of new homegrown aviation company such as Spaero Sdn Bhd in providing quality and excellent hangarage, repair and maintenance services locally.
To make this event even more meaningful and at the same time promote corporate social responsibility, a special flight for the less fortunate / under privileged children from Rumah Budak Laki-laki Tun Abdul Aziz has been arranged and to be lead by the Chief Minister Representative himself.
The Sikorsky S-92 helicopter which would be stationed at Spaero from 28th November till 1st December, 2011 will proceed to participate in LIMA Langkawi 2011 before returning to Spaero Sdn Bhd for subsequent servicing required by Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation.
